At the heart of the fragrance are materials closely linked to Richter's life and work: graphite, vetiver, cedarwood from a piano soundboard, rosin from a violin bow, transistors, and magnetic tape. As one of the most influential composers of his generation, Richter is known for his ability to seamlessly blend classical orchestration with modern electronic sounds. The fragrance invites contemplation of scent as a medium of memory.
